I started ClearLegacy after seeing how hard “a simple thing” can be. When someone close passed away without a Will, what followed wasn’t just grief — it was paperwork, delay, cost, and quiet tension between people who loved each other. It shouldn’t be that hard, and it shouldn’t cost hundreds of pounds to put your wishes in writing. ClearLegacy is my answer: a proper, legally valid Will — from a few plain-English questions, checked against the Wills and Administration Proceedings (Northern Ireland) Order 1994, usually delivered within 24 hours — for £69. No jargon, no upsells. Just a simple way for anyone in Northern Ireland to make sure the people they love are looked after.

We are not a law firm and we do not employ solicitors. Will writing is not a regulated activity in Northern Ireland, which means anyone can offer it, and it is worth knowing that before you choose any provider, including us. What we can point to instead is below: how each Will is checked, the insurance behind the service, and independent reviews.
If your situation involves a business, a farm, assets outside the UK, a contested family position or a trust, a solicitor is the right route, and our guides say so where it applies.
Every Will is generated from your answers and then checked automatically against the requirements of the Wills and Administration Proceedings (Northern Ireland) Order 1994 — the legislation that governs what makes a Will valid in Northern Ireland, and which differs from the law in England and Wales. Anything the check flags is reviewed personally by Sat Lally before the Will is sent. The first draft is sent straight after payment; the finished Will usually within 24 hours.

A single Will is £69 and Mirror Wills are £99, fixed. One free update is included with every Will. There are no upsells inside the process. Because a Will is personalised digital content sent straight after payment, we do not refund a change of mind; if a Will is never delivered, you get a full refund. Our reviews are on Trustpilot, where we cannot edit or remove them. At the time of writing there are six, all five stars, all from customers in England and Wales. Trustpilot's headline TrustScore reads lower than that because its formula discounts profiles with only a few reviews. Our Complaints Procedure is published. We acknowledge a complaint within 3 working days and respond in full within 28 days (56 where the matter is complex). If you are not satisfied with our response, the procedure sets out the routes beyond us: Consumerline and the Trading Standards Service for consumer disputes, the Information Commissioner's Office for data protection, and the small claims process in Northern Ireland.
