ClearLegacy does not refund a change of mind. Your Will is personalised digital content generated from the answers you review and confirm before paying. Supply begins the moment you pay: your first draft is emailed to you immediately, every Will is checked before it is issued, and your final, signing-ready Will usually follows within 24 hours. Once you have paid, one free update is included. If a paid Will is never delivered to you, we refund you in full.
You do not pay anything to start using ClearLegacy, and nothing is charged until you have reviewed and confirmed every answer your Will is built from.
The practical consequence: by the time you click “Pay”, you have reviewed and confirmed every answer your Will is built from, and your first draft is sent to you immediately. It is a personalised document that cannot be returned or resold.
Your Will is personalised digital content, prepared to your confirmed instructions and supplied immediately after payment with your express request and acknowledgement. For that reason:
One free update is included after payment. If something changes — a new beneficiary, a change of executor, an updated address — we will amend your Will once at no charge. After that, a full rewrite is available at the standard price.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you would normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content bought online. At checkout you expressly ask us to begin supplying your Will immediately and acknowledge that you lose that right once supply has begun. Supply begins when your first draft is sent, which happens straight after payment. We confirm your request and acknowledgement in the email that carries your first draft.
For that reason there is no cancellation period after payment. Your statutory rights under section 5 below are unaffected.
This policy applies to refund claims based on dissatisfaction or change of mind. It does not affect:
The name on your card statement will be Kaizen Finance Ltd, the company that trades as ClearLegacy. If you see a charge you don't recognise, please email [email protected] first — we can find your order in seconds. If a payment is disputed with a card issuer, we provide the issuer with the record of your confirmed answers, your checkout request and acknowledgement, the payment and the delivery of your draft and final Will.
If anything is unclear before you reach the payment step — about the service, the document, the price, or this policy — please email [email protected]. There is no obligation, no card on file, and no payment due until you tell us you are ready.
If you are unhappy with the document after payment, please follow our Complaints Procedure rather than requesting a refund. We aim to acknowledge complaints within three working days and to provide a final response within 28 days. Where we have made an error, we will put it right at no further cost.
